The last 5 years in the area of Karystos, there has been an important development in relation to the creation of the wind parks, fact that also means the increase of the workforce. Due to the problem of the accomodation of those workers, we decided to create a housing that worked as a ”hybrid” and combined the sector of the tourism and the work. The housing is developed mainly to the horizontal direction. We wanted it to blend in smoothly with the surrounding environment, so we created green areas that were also the communication point of the users. There are three types of rooms, according every time the users that come to the housing. We created spaces that served the needs both of the workforce and tourists, which were also very pleasant and unique, due to their form and shape and their voids, that had as a result beautiful shadows and lights
